Draft your post
To get started, visit the Home tab within your Bandsintown for Artists dashboard.
In the top right corner, make sure the box next to the Bandsintown logo is checked to confirm that you're reaching your followers. You can also check the Facebook and Twitter boxes to expand your reach by reaching all three fan bases at once.
Type your message into the text area (max. 1,000 characters). You can also add emojis, photos, and links by clicking the icons in the bottom left corner.
Once drafted, click Preview in the bottom right corner of the text editor to preview how your post and notifications will look for your fans.

Post
Once your post is drafted, you're just about ready to send it off to your fans. First though, you'll need to decide who you want to reach.
Analyze
Visit Insights > Posts to see which posts performed the best based on views. For a reminder of what you sent, simply click on the post row to expand a preview.

How it works
Reach your followers in a specific location to remind them about an upcoming show and boost ticket sales. Select the targeting option "Target by location", then indicate the geographic region you'd like to target: country, state/province, or city with radius. Keep in mind that geo-targeted posts will not be visible on your artist page.

You can reach fans who've saved or RSVP'd for a specific event or multiple events. Select the targeting option "Target by Event". Keep in mind that event-targeted posts do not get featured on your artist page.

Perfect the timing of your announcements by scheduling posts to go out on a specific date and time. Click on the Schedule option and choose when to publish your post.
Once you've decided your targeting and timing, your post is ready to go! Hit post to immediately reach your active Bandsintown followers in their feeds and via email and push notifications. To maximize visibility, your post will also be featured on your artist page.
