The Goal
SZA set out to expand her first-party contacts, including email and phone numbers, particularly around the announcement of her 2023 SOS Tour when there would be more traction to her socials and website.
Team SZA wanted an easy way for fans to join her contact lists in order to better engage them for this and future marketing campaigns.

The Play
When SZA shared the tour announcement on socials, her team knew it would also be picked up by press, and that her socials and website would receive an influx of visits.
They added the Smart Link to her social bios and the Widget to her website, listing all of the tour dates and enabling the opt-in feature for visitors to join her email list. Visitors could share their contact info and even request shows in their areas without leaving the site.
The Results
By adding the Smart Link to her socials and the Widget to her website, SZA and her team successfully gained 34.5k new followers on Bandsintown and 22.2k new opt-ins from the SOS tour announcement and promotion.
