City and Colour wanted to increase awareness and drive ticket sales for his 2023 spring tour with special guest Courtney Marie Andrewsby, incentivizing fans to check out the tour dates and making it easy for them to grab tickets.

He created a contest with Bandsintown to support the announcement, offering fans in each of the 14 cities on the tour the chance to win a pair of tickets by following his artist page on Bandsintown and RSVPing to a show using his custom Widget.
The contest was shared on his socials and sent via Promoted Email campaign to 500k fans of similar artists on Bandsintown.
The Results
By driving fans from social media plus fans of similar artists from Bandsintown to his Widget, City and Colour was able to drive 3k ticket clicks from 337.9k opened emails while capturing 1.1k new followers, 802 of whom opted to share their email addresses, over a four-day period.
